“Casale dello Sparviero is a vineyard with its roots in tradition.
Housed in an old 16th Century monastary where Sparrow Hawks have made their nests for centuries (hence the name and imagery on the bottles), the estate sits in the heart of Chianti in the hills of Castellina and around 10 km from Siena.
The philosophy at Casale dello Sparviero is one of minimum intervention and respect for terroir and local grape varietals. As such, and unlike many other Chianti wines, only 100% Sangiovese is used for their wines.”
