Domaine Heitz-Lochardet, Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru 2013

MOP 3,640.00

Nicely brilliant with pale and silver tints. Rich nose. Ripe citrus before aeration and then very quickly fresh citrus like pineapple. Nice freshness in mouth. Acidity is more and more intense, nice tension and elegant minerality. In the finish very mineral with a little saltiness. Complex aromas that develop themselves with aeration with floral, citrus and spicy notes (white pepper). Very nice potential.

“Domaine Heitz-Lochardet is a new estate, run by the youthful Armand Heitz, with vines inherited from his mother and passed down through the generations. Armand has now taken charge of the vines, making wine from grapes that were previously sold to large négociants. His first vintage is 2013.
At just 27 years old, Armand is young and extremely talented winemaker who has received rave reviews for his very first vintage, which was a very tough one in Burgundy, and a name to watch out for in the coming years.”
