Domaine Heitz-Lochardet, Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru la Maltroie 2016

MOP 649.00

Very brilliant color with elegant silver and gold tints. Pleasant and very fine toasted reduction that gives elegance before aeration. Nice minerality that matches up with fresh citrus, lemon and zests notes. In mouth the fresh attack quickly moves to a very nice volume, with a lot of energy. The wine is still very precise, rich with a nice tension in the middle mouth. Nice length, elegant, mineral and spicy in the finish.

“Domaine Heitz-Lochardet is a new estate, run by the youthful Armand Heitz, with vines inherited from his mother and passed down through the generations. Armand has now taken charge of the vines, making wine from grapes that were previously sold to large négociants. His first vintage is 2013.
At just 27 years old, Armand is young and extremely talented winemaker who has received rave reviews for his very first vintage, which was a very tough one in Burgundy, and a name to watch out for in the coming years.”
